Therapy for Adult-ADHD

I can help you get organized and focused. I can also help you with learning how to manage your time better so that you can complete tasks and achieve your goals. I will help you identify faulty thinking that leads you to feel a certain way, that impacts your behavior. I help you understand that your thoughts can be changed, and you can learn behaviors that are more productive for you. We will also look at dysfunctional patterns that have been caused by your prior experiences.  

Therapy for PTSD

I can help you make your triggers and trauma reminders less prevalent in your everyday life. I will help you through Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). EMDR has been shown to decrease the reactions to trauma reminders and help people look at these difficult life experiences in a way that encourages personal growth and recovery.

Therapy for Low Self-Esteem

I can help you feel like you are that badass woman that everyone thinks you are. I help you understand how powerful your thoughts are by exploring your unconscious mind. This helps you understand what drives your behavior. The awareness that comes up in therapy will help bring you change.   

My Approach

During your first session, we’ll work on your intake paperwork. Your first session will be to cover paperwork and to get to know each other better. During this session, my goal is to get a full understanding of your needs and how I can help. Every session will be 50 minutes, and I recommend in the beginning we meet once a week for the first 13 sessions to keep up the momentum we see in session. Payment is collected at the end of the day electronically. 

 

The therapeutic process is going to be an interesting experience for you. There may be times that you will or even cry. There may be some art and mindfulness involved. It depends on what you like and what you feel open to doing. I just want you to know that I let you lead the session.
